About us

Opasso was founded by us, Tiril and Emilie. We're both based in Trondheim, and what started as a shared passion for cycling grew into a brand built around the kind of apparel we wanted to ride in ourselves.

Every Opasso piece is produced in Italy, in collaboration with Nalini / MOA Sport, a manufacturer with decades of experience in high-end technical cycling apparel. The fabrics, construction and finish reflect that heritage. This is premium kit, made by people who have spent generations perfecting it.

We started Opasso because we felt something was missing: a Norwegian cycling brand that brings together performance, quality and a clean aesthetic. The options for women in particular felt limited, both in fit and in design. At the same time, we wanted to do production differently. A lot of today's cycling apparel is made far away, with little transparency, and we made a deliberate choice to take another route. Staying close to our manufacturer means we know exactly how each piece is made, by whom, and with what.

The name Opasso comes from over pass, inspired by mountains, long rides and the feeling of pushing past the next point on the horizon. To us, it stands for progression, challenge and the freedom you find on the road. We design for cyclists at every level, whether you ride for performance, for exploration, or simply for the joy of being outside.
